Youth & Young Adults in the Diocese of Raphoe

Our mission is to fulfill the Gospel mandate to “go make disciples of all nations” (see Matthew 28:18-20) of the youth and young adults throughout our diocese. Our aim is to evangelize, catechize, and encourage our youth and young adults to participate in the life and mission of the Church through various programs and events. We hope to provide training and resources for those who minister to youth and young adults. Our desire is also to provide opportunities to network amongst those who minister to youth and young adults within our diocese, as well as serving as a link between other groups and organizations that serve youth and young adults.

NET stands for National Evangelisation Teams. Their mission is to challenge young Catholics to love Christ and embrace the life of the Church.

They are Catholic missionaries who share the Gospel message with youth in a team format.

NET recruits and trains teams to evangelise nearly 10,000 youth each year in schools and parishes across Ireland.

Team members share their faith in Christ through personal witness of God’s love and invite young people to live for Christ themselves.
