Very Rev Seamus Gallagher, PP, Frosses (INVER) - RIP

The death has taken place on Thursday, 18th October 2018 at the Parochial House, Frosses, Co Donegal, of Father Seamus Gallagher, aged 57. He was Parish Priest of Frosses (Inver).

Born: 8th May 1961.

Ordained: 23rd June 1985 in St Eunan’s Cathedral, Letterkenny, Co Donegal by Bishop Seamus Hegarty.

Fr Gallagher received his primary education in St Crona’s NS, Dungloe and his Secondary Education in St Eunan’s College, Letterkenny. He began his training for the Priesthood at St Patrick’s College, Maynooth in 1979 from where he was ordained to the Priesthood in 1985.

Remains arriving at St Crona’s Church, Dungloe for Mass this evening, Friday 19th October for 7.30pm. Rosary at 10pm.

Fr Seamus’s remains will repose at the Parochial House, Frosses from 5pm – 10pm on Saturday 20th October and from 12 noon – 10pm on Sunday 21st October. Rosary both nights at 10pm.

Requiem Mass will take place in the Church of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Frosses on Monday 22nd October at 12noon following by burial in St Naul’s Cemetery, Ardaghey.
