Rainbows Bereavement Care for Children... it doesn't need to hurt forever.
When something significant happens in a family, the entire family is affected. Though death and separation appear to be only a grown-up problem, it does have a profound effect on children and younger people.
Rainbows is a 14-week support programme for children/teens who have suffered the loss of a parent, grandparent, brother or sister through death or separation. Rainbow offers: Peer support, warm relaxed atmosphere, a trained caring adult, the use of art and play, an opportunity for children to express their feelings.
The Rainbows programme commences at the end of October 2013.
Training Workshops are run for Rainbows Bereavement Facilitators to work with grieving children.
